Instead\, happier employees are more motivated\, creative and resilient. These are all incredibly important attributes in the fast-paced agency world. \nStatistician Nic Marks will draw on his experience tracking team happiness across hundreds of organisations and share his insights into how to build happy\, successful teams in your agency. Nic was once described as a “Statistician with a Soul” because of his unusual combination of ‘hard’ statistical and ‘soft’ people skills. He draws on scientific evidence to show that everyone benefits when businesses take happiness seriously. \nNic studied Mathematics and applied statistics at Cambridge and Lancaster Universities. He later trained as a psychotherapist and a group facilitator. In 2019 Nic founded Friday Pulse an innovative tech business based in London that tracks employee happiness and supports team leaders to build happy and successful teams. He previously worked in the public policy realm as an advisor to the UK Government Office for Science on the Wellbeing Foresight Programme.
