June 19, 2024 @ 12:00 - 13:00

James Armstrong - Social Firefly

James is a social media expert with years of experience in training marketers, communicators and business owners on everything social media! From paid advertising to the psychology of scroll-stopping content.

He’s the Creative Director (and co-owner) of Social Firefly, a 6-year-old agency with a team of 7. Their consultation services, strategies, social media content and advertising help brands, businesses and organisations see real business results from social media.

James’ career started in the public sector. He spent over 10 years in policing, from patrolling the streets to managing policing communications for the Nato Summit in Cardiff, and ended his career as the Digital Communications Manager for Sussex Police. With this background, Social Firefly has ended up working in the public and charity sectors, with eating disorder charity BEAT, Brighton & Hove City Council, and NHS Lothian, alongside global development non-profits like One Acre Fund, commercial clients like Toupret UK, EcoSync and HealthCare International. All of whom we’re helping grow brand awareness, leads and sales.
